Get Involved
Promote the Meeting
For anyone that would like to promote our upcoming annual meeting we have a full-sized flyer and a sheet of bookmarks that you can download/print/share!
Mentorship Program
Each year, the Mentorship Pairing Program connects newcomers with veteran oral historians. This program gives the opportunity for people who are new to the OHA Annual Meeting to connect with people who have experience in the organization and in the field of oral history in general.
- A mentor can help you navigate the meeting and may be able to provide advice about the field or suggestions for starting or continuing your career.
- The mentorship meet & greet provides an opportunity for new oral historians to get to spend time getting to know seasoned oral historians and other OHA members.
- The speed networking session allows newcomers to ask questions, network, and learn from practitioners in the field of oral history.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor or mentee at this year’s conference, please indicate your interest by Sept. 15th within the conference registration form.
Author Book Signing
Selected authors will be assigned a table top space in the OHA Annual Meeting Exhibit Hall to meet with OHA Attendees & sell/display their books. Authors will be responsible for shipping and receiving materials, as well as their own sales. If you are interested, please fill out the form by August 30, 2024.
