Jenny Robinson

Everyone has a story, and we are all natural story tellers. We are not natural writers, so I make it easy for people to share their own story, in their voice, with their own inflection and storytelling charm. I have always been passionate about family history and in helping people connect through their experiences. As a science teacher, I learned the value of a good question and how that can help unravel a mystery or experience. I believe people are more willing and able to tell their story when it's done in a natural conversation, asking and answering questions that help a story unfold. It has been a dream to be the owner of 'It's your story Preserved' and to be able to meet unique individuals whose story needed to be told, and needed the forum to tell it in. I created a podcast that allows people another avenue for connection. I have had countless experiences of people telling me how they were impacted by the histories they heard. It is a privilege to be entrusted with the stories of others.
